iPhone 6 will let you “feel” the objects on the screen

Chinese website Laoyaoba informs that Apple is going to use so-called "haptics” for the new iPhone. Apple refuses to give any comments on this matter. Haptics technology is built into devices to create tactile feedback or vibrations so a user feels something when touching the screen of a mobile device. For example, someone could feel the sensation of clicking a button or moving an object around the screen when using the technology.

Samsung has been working on similar technologies for its smart phones. Last year Korean company signed a multiyear licensing deal with Immersion for its haptics products. Cnet reports that iPhone will come out in two sizes -- 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch, which is bigger than the latest 4-inch iPhone 5S.

Worthwhile noting that for the new iPhone models Apple will switch from Gorilla Glass to sapphire as a cover material. Earlier this material was used for camera lenses and fingerprints screening in iPhone 5S. At the end of the last year Apple have paid 578 mln dollars to GT Advanced Technologies to accelerate the production of sapphire glass. This material is often used for premium hand watch models due to its highly resistant to scratches and shattering. Apple Insider informs that iPhone 6 will be equipped with a more powerful CPU and battery to support the new iOS8. A model with 128GB internal memory is likely to come out. Apple Insider says that the sales may start between 19 to 25 September.
